Peacock Care Homes was founded in 2021 by a local family in Fort Collins that consisted of a Physical Therapist with a 30 year history working with seniors in Assisted living and Memory care Communities throughout Loveland/Fort Collins areas and a MD with training in General Surgery. The Vision for Peacock Care Homes was to provide the highest quality Assisted living and Memory Care options for seniors in Northern Colorado.
Our Communities Consist of renovated homes designed to create a safe, secure and comfortable environment for small groups of seniors to live together and thrive.
Assisted living VS Memory care
The main difference between assisted living and memory care is the level of care each provides. Memory care is a higher level of care than Assisted living, as it is specifically designed for those with memory impairments such as Alzheimer’s or dementia. Memory care communities provide personal care in assistance with activities of daily living as well as around-the-clock supervision and a secure environment. Assisted living on the other hand is a lower level of care, designed for those who need help with some activities of daily living but are still relatively independent.
